Labor Day: Wild Animals

We went to the wild animal park and got to all cram into our van to drive through the drive through parts. On the walking part, we got to see them feed the bears and the wolves. It was awesome. And somehow seeing those wolves so close gave me a whole new perspective on Jacob (from Stephanie Meyer's Twilight books)...wow...check out our wild animals as they look at the other wild animals.

Oh-and here we are crammed in the van.

Labor Day: Cars & Caffeine

So, we walked back to the cars after our walk and playground time, and we were thirsty. Note the Diet Pepsi in Solace's hand in some pics...

Poor Ender totally biffed it face first in the dirt-he looks pretty good considering, and he is a tough kid!

Armour loves Ender's Indiana Jones hat and wears it quite often...

Labor Day: Playground

Awesome playground shots!! Nicely done Stefanie!

Labor Day: Nature Walk

We went for a nature walk...
Armour posed with his cattail... Stef got a great butterfly picture...
And Solace found a caterpillar that Wes caught and we brought home for preschool-that caterpillar was named Sally which changed to Callie the caterpillar and is now Callie the Chrysalis. This is Solace looking at Callie before Wes picked her up...

Labor Day: Pier

Here we are on a picturesque pier. First walking over than watching someone fish. As Stef pointed out on her Facebook, watching fishing is really not always as fascinating as we make it look in these pictures. Keep in mind, they (the watching fishing pics) were all taken in like about 3 minutes time-our attention spans are only about that long...

Walking along (BTW-have you noticed that there are already more pics of me up in these Labor Day posts than I have posted in like the past 50 posts or so-that's what happens when someone else has the camera...Also, please keep in mind when you see my chubby belly that my baby is still not quite 4 months old...)

I totally screwed up this pic-I didn't know it was being taken, but everyone else looks perfect!

Labor Day: Eating out

What would a visit be without eating out a couple times? Here we are doing just that!

You'll note here the matching hairstyles-Stef learned her lesson...if you let a 5-yr-old choose a matching hairstyle for you and her, it will be age appropriate for her...and you will look like one of those grown ups that is obsessed with like, the movies Heidi and Sound of Music...not that there is anything wrong with that...

If ever there was a picture to make the girls swoon...
