Opa!

When my parents were here, we stopped to eat at a Greek restaurant. It was great. Some pics:

Solace
EnderArmour LOVED his first Greek food! Check out that meat!
And he even loved stealing the spaghetti-yes you read right-spaghetti that Spence ordered...

Fruit Picking/ Green Bluffs here come the Endertons!

When my parents, brother and aunt were visiting last week, we went to the apple orchards up in Green Bluffs. Here are some highlights!
Armour gets an apple Armour slam dunks an apple in the box
Cathy with Army
Mom and Dad
Cathy and all the kids
Everyone but me
Everyone but Cathy
Oh yeah-we played with fire picking apples-check out dad carrying Spence-we were pleasantly surprised that nobody fell! :) The funny part though is to check out Wes in the background-he's ready to catch if necessary!
Solace gets a pear.
Ender gets a high pear all by himself

"That's right mom, I got that pear all by myself."
Ender and his pumpkin-he couldn't help but grab and pick the first one he saw.
Armour, about to throw his pumpkin.
Wes and Solace with her large pumpkin (she said she had to have the biggest pumpkin, aka bigger than her brothers, because she's bigger then they are.)
But, Spence of course picked the great pumpkin. He was told he couldn't pick one because he couldn't take it to Utah, so he promptly went and picked a huge one he couldn't even carry alone. We now own the Great Pumpkin! :)
At the 2nd orchard getting berries.

Check out the raspberries on his cheek!
"Mom, did you get the beautiful picture of me picking a very red raspberry?"
Even Cathy got into it!
Spence too.

Grandparents day in pictures

Grandparents Day Video

For Grandparents day at their school last Friday, Ender and Solace we able to have my parents go with them. This is a video of 2 of the 3 songs they sang for the grandparents (the camera ran out of battery before the 3rd). Ender is front and center, Solace is harder to see-she is in the middle of the back row-long dark hair, singing her little heart out. Unfortunately my camera won't let you zoom on vodeo mode, so you don't get a great shot of Sol. Enjoy my first successful video post!

Come back for more!

So, it has been pointed out to me, repeatedly, and my many, ok well, by few, that I have been neglecting my blog for the last couple weeks. It's so true. But I assure you, I have pictures and stories galore! We had grandparents day, visits, and fun, fun, fun! So, stay tuned for more on the great Enderton family trek to see us here in Spokane! I don't promise to be hilarious as I have found I am less funny when I am not feeling well, but I promise I have lots of fun pictures.

BTW-Thanks to everyone who has been contributing to the names/ideas. I love them-keep em coming! I will likely put up a few of my recent ideas soon (pending whether I fear them stolen or not)! :)

A mother's nightmare...sorta...aka, another Ender adventure.

So, a week or so ago, in the middle of the night, while Wes was on call and at work in the ER, I went in to check on my kids. I looked in on Solace and she was sweetly sleeping. I went into the boys room, and immediately noticed an empty bed, and no sign of Ender. Before setting into full on panic, I glanced in the crib and saw that there was in fact a child in there, so Armour was ok. Then I started to search for Ender. I went into all three of his favorite bathrooms looking for him, searched under all three beds in the house, even double checked the doors to be sure they were still locked, as he has been prone to leaving now that he can open the doors alone. All was secure, but still no Ender. I went up and took a closer look in Solace's bed, making sure he was not stuck in the plethora of stuffed animals, dolls and blankets on her bed. He was not. So, finally, I went to take a closer look at Armour, realizing at this point that I had not even really looked at him, just seen that his foot was hanging out between the slots of the crib (as is his norm), and when I actually looked in the crib, after my frantic 5 minutes that felt like an hour, and right before I was going to call Wes at work, this is what I saw:

I am sure Ender was sleeping there the whole time, but in my panic, I had not even really looked. What a goof ball (both Ender and me I mean)!! Isn't he lovely wrapped in his sister's princess blanket?!
