Kindle's Disney World Trip (AKA what to do with 3 year olds at WDW)

I only like rides that are slow and flat. I do not like rides that are fast or go down! My favorite rides are it's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Soarin', and Peter Pan. I liked when we met Donald, Mickey, and all those guys. I loved the parades, and I liked going to the Crush show. Crush talked to Armour and Ender but not me and in made me sad, but he was still funny. That's all...
Love,

If Kindle were to name the baby...

Lots to write, but for now just wanted to jot down some of the names Kindle has come up with today for our baby:
  • Markie (after her buddy Mark @church)
  • Baby Ruth (she thinks she made this up and she and Armour had no clue what I was talking about when I told them that is a candy bar...)
  • Key
  • Bruland (Sister Bruland is Armour's Sunbeams teacher...not a bad name for a boy though.)
There were more, but those the the ones I coudl remember.

Kindle's 2nd Birthday

OK-well to be able to post any pictures, I will have to do so under my other email or Wes's email now apparently...so on the road to catching up, let me continue.

On May 13, 2010 our baby girl, Kindle, turned 2 years old!!! Ahhh...my baby is not so much a baby anymore. We were lucky enough to have aunt Stefanie here to celebrate with us. She had a small family party at home on her birthday, then on the Saturday after her birthday I was having a summer house party sponsored by HouseParty.com and BIC that we turned into a party for Kindle as well. She was spoiled and loved it!

First are some pictures from her Saturday party...
She did not want to pose ...

Next are from the small family party...

Wow-what a fun week and a lovely little lady!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kindle!!!

Potty training begins again...

This is not a chatch up post, but a current up to date post-Kindle just went potty in the toilet successfully for the first time and now just wants to go potty over and over. I have not at all been tryign to potty train her, but we have mentioned it to her and told her she could have her Dora Pull Up (a free sample I got) as soon as she goes potty in the toilet. SHe did it today (and of course the pull up is lost-but she seems ok with it). We sang her the potty dance and Solace and I danced around the house with her and she got to put on a different pull up and it was great! Maybe I will be done with diapers sooner than I thought!!!

One Day (version 4.0:Kindle)

Well, as with all the kids, Kindle has managed to get herself into some messy situations unbeknownst to mommy...here is what I found one day after dinner in May:

Oh boy! Did you notice in the pictures that at first she knows she is in trouble then she wants to eat as much ketchup as possible before I take it, then she realizes I am taking pictures and gives her big smile?!

Kindergarten round up=Ender home!!

Here in Omaha, they have a thing called Kindergarten Round up each year. On that day current kindergartners stay home while the kindergartners for next year go to part of the school day with the teachers. With Ender home for Kindergarten round up, we wanted to do something special so we walked over to the park and had a picnic. Above is us eating our picnic, and below are a few more pics:

Kindle trying her hand at playing on her own
Here is the school boy in a variety of fun playtime activities!
This is Armour being the grumpy old troll (from Dora)...he did crack a smile and lose character a few times...

What fun it was to have one of our school kids home!!! We did miss Solace that day...

Annual HOAA Easter egg hunt

Hoaa is the resident group here and I am the playgroup director this year. We had our annual Easter Egg hunt yesterday and in spite of the cold and somewhat rainy weather, we had a really good turnout! I guess all us moms and kids are REALLY ready to get out of the house! I did not have my camera but I took a few pics on my cell, so here are Armour and Kindle enjoying their playgroup egg hunt.

One Day...

One day I left Kindle laying on the floor while I went potty. I came back to find this:

Daddy/Daughter soccer league practice

This video was taken a couple weeks ago (yes I am that far behind on our blogs-I have not been able to get the pics on the computer until last night). It is just over a minute of cute fun play time with her dad-she also talks a lot in it.

Beautiful Girl + Brilliant Photographer

Ender took some pictures today. I love them and here are a few we wanted to share!

I love that his feet are really the focus here: Us

SO beautiful

Kindle eats

Ok, so technically she isn't 4 months old quite yet, but we started letting her have food once a day along with her nursing. She will be 4 months on my birthday in about a week and a half. We have these bottle like things that allow for babies to more easily and less messily eat their baby food, so the other part that is nice is that even at such a young age, she can basically feed herself when she has her food. Crazy, right?! Nonetheless, here she is feeding herself food:

Sisters

My sister just posted this on her blog, which is private, but I wanted you all to see this. Here is what she wrote:

I just had to post these pictures. . . I think Kindle (Beckee's baby) looks just like her big sister, Solace! Here is a picture of Kindle that Beckee posted to her blog recently:

And this is a picture of Solace taken at about the same age (I took this picture):

Don't you think they look alike!? I do!

So, seriously, aren't my girls adorable? And they do look alike, it's true...

As an important side note, I think you should all know that Solace just saw this and said, "Oh-look how cute she is, did you take that (the second picture) today while I was at school? It is SOOOO cute!" When I told her it was actually her she was beyond shocked and she looked at her sister and said "Kindle, we are twins, very, very cute twins!"
