Johnsons out!

Well, the time has come for us to complete our last part of the move. After our cross country move is complete, we will be in Nebraska. We started out in Washington...(where we left great friends...)
Stopped by in Utah (Where we are leaving great family & friends)...
Now, on to Nebraska where we will meet new friends and meet up with old friends...

I will not have Internet for a while (hopefully not too long without it, but it looks like it might be a while...), so it looks like this blog may go without updates for a while...Sorry! Feel free to browse old blog entries and enjoy my insanity of the past. Johnsons out!

Happy Father's Day!!

Well, as usual, I am late getting this done, but I didn't want to miss blogging about Fathers!! Also, I figured I can be a day late since all my blogging this past week has essentially been an ode to Wes anyway!! Also, I have to note that my access to pictures for this was limited, so I stole pics from my sisters blog and from old pics on my blog which means I am lacking at least one picture-one of Wesley's grandpa Johnson. I was able to scavenge all the other pics I needed...
enjoy what I did find...
When we (the kids and I) think of Father's Day, we think first of the great daddy that lives with us: WES!!! What a great dad he is! He is always playing with his kids and loves them so much! We sure missed spending Father's Day with him and look forward to having a special Father's Day with him later this week! I (Beckee) have often joked that the kids like me as newborns and then as they get old enough to play they like dad best. My famous quote (well at least a quote I repeat a lot) is that the kids think of me as a vending machine and Wes as a pinball machine. Though I say it as a joke, there is a lot of truth to it! But with a dad like Wes who is always up for an adventure, how can his kids not think of how fun he is?! Just look at some of the fun stuff he does with them:
Wes and his newborn (probably the least "fun" pic as this is the age when they like me!)
Look what a happy new dad (for the 4th time-this is Kindle) he is! They are both great and we appreciate everything they have done for us! Obviously they both did a great job-just look at how we turned out! :) We love you dads! Thank you again for being the greatest couple of dads in the world!
Here are a few pics of the dads (OK & moms, but this is about Father's Day!!)
Here we are on our wedding day with all our parents. My family the day my brother was born-look at the look on my dad's face, he can't stop smiling at his new (and only) son even long enough to take a picture. My parentsLook at these 3 Johnson generations! Armour has the hair for all of them!!
This was taken at Manito Park-Wes with his son and his dad!Our parents at Med school graduation.Med school Commencement-Wes & our parents.
When we think of Fathers, we also think of the fathers that raised our parents. So we want to tell them all how much we love and appreciate them as well! Thank you for always loving us and taking care of us, and for raising great parents for us! Thanks Papou, Grandpa Enderton, Grandpa Nelson, and Grandpa Johnson (again Grandpa J-I am sorry for the lack of picture-they are all packed on my computer).
Here is a pic of my Grandpa Chuck (Grandpa Enderton) at my dad's college graduation. We don't have a lot of pics of Grandpa as he died when I was young. My Papou (with XiaXia) at Disneyland. Man, I wish I had the pic of him dressed in drag for Halloween to play in his band when I was younger. That would be fun to post-you can really see his personality coming out in that one-anyone have that?! Kris? Angel? Andrea? Mom? Anyone else that reads this? XiaXia & PaPou coming home from their first mission. Look at all those grand kids (there are more than are pictures, and we are all much older now...)
Grandpa Nelson (& Grandma Nelson) visit us in Spokane.
Happy Father's Day!!!

(Isn't it great to have an excuse to think about our dads and to thank them and let them know how much we love them?!)
