I just have to say that my husband is the best! Some people have husbands that buy them flowers just for no reason and that is awesome, but I have to say, sometimes it is nice to have the husband that goes with the less conventional surprise. As a little background, our heat doesn't really work that well, and since it costs a TON to have it on and doesn't really heat up much., we have been trying not to use it. (In an attempt to save some money obviously) So, we got our bill yesterday, which I was disappointed in, but Wes said, "Well, think of how bad it would have been if we hadn't stopped using the heat!" And he was happy that it was as low as it was. Well, as mentioned, I was a bit disappointed as I expected it to be practically free after freezing our butts off for a month (We just bundle up well, and we have some heat that we have no control over-it automatically goes on to keep the pipes from freezing).
So, after I got the bill and called Wes to complain about it, he started to think about how the kids and I are home bundling up all day to stay warm just to save money, and he started to think about all the money we saved, and so on his way home from work, he stopped at Wal Mart and bought all of us extra warm outfits to bundle up in. It was awesome! The boys got more feetie PJ's that they love, Solace got the cutest little princess robe that she ADORES (I practically had to tear it off her to go to school today-she was wearing it over her clothes). And I got warm red furry pants and a nice black turtleneck that fit me and look good even all pregnant!!! I LOVED it! I would take my sensible gifts over flowers any day! Thanks Wes for thinking of us and for the awesome warm clothes!!! (I love when he surprises me!)
