100 Day Challenge: Day 2

Day two is in the books. This morning Everest had a primary activity at church that was an hour and a half long. When I dropped him off and realized I ahd a chunk of time, I decided to get my walk in. Good thing because since then it has started to snow again, and there is no way I'd be able to motivae myself to walk a mile in that! Here's my Day 2 video.

And for the sake of keeping track of my "stats", Here is the screen shots from the MapMyRun app:

So today I went a bit further than yesterday with 2 miles down (which is twice my daily goal, so yeah!). And I actually was a little faster average per mile(15:47). My first mile was a little slower than yesterday (16:12 today 16:04 yesterday), but I think it was walking through ice and snow (trying not to slip) that was the difference. And my second mile was faster (15:15), so my average was better (15:47).  So a bit of improvement on time and distance. Oh and just because, enjoy this picture of me at the end of the walk.

Well, 2/100 days down in the challenge. 1/50th of the way there!

100 Day Challenge:Day 1

I actually hate having to answer to anyone, but I am hoping by doing this and posting it on this blog (where I don't think anyone looks anymore except maybe me and close family/friends), that it will make me feel responsible and motivate me to do this everyday.
I am going to do the 100 day challenge where you choose to do something for 100 days and video it. I'm pretty sure it's a YouTube Challenge (Maybe Armour will want to do one on his YouTube channel). But I am not ready to YouTube this crap, so it's going on here,
My 100 Day Challenge statement: For 100 days I will walk, jog or run at least a mile a day. (This ought to kick start my fitness goals!)

Here is my video from today Day 1, January 6, 2017.

And just for the sake of accountability, here are my stats from today
(I am using the UnderArmour MapMyRun app, which I love, to track this):

I walked 1.6 miles in 25 minutes and 58 seconds for an average of 16:04 per mile.
Away we go!
