Random-about my siblings...

So, my sister did her random tag on her blog, but she thought her things were boring, so I wrote 6 different random things for her and thought I would share them with you. And while I am at it, I might as well share things about all my sibs.

Here's my random things about Andrea:
1-Although her husband has 2 degrees from the U, he is an unfailingly Y fan...
2-She was a drunken crazy (and possibly gay) old lady in her high school musical, and in a performance in association with that show, she fell on her face and broke her nose.
3-She is allergic to pretty much everything, though recently has been able to try Strawberries for the first time...not to steal from Rachel Ray, but yum-o!
4-She and her whole family are basically Disneyland experts, only to be outdone by the Seaburys...
5-She is Nala, and she named her kid Kyara...nuf said.
6-Her dad used to wait right through a glass front door watching while she said goodbye to all her dates...always...

About Melanie:
1-First and foremost, she has now made sure that Wes is not the only True Aggie in the family. (Feel free to send any questions or comments about that her way)
2-Though Mel seems pretty laid back, she is actually one of the pickiest people I know about her clothing...yes, what she wears is carefully chosen out and picked to wear.
3-She once took my mom's car and drove to Disneyland which is no big deal except she forgot to tell anyone.
4-She has many a nickname including Belle, Bella, Mel, Belle, Melarella, munchkin...
5-She has a Build-a-Bear addiction. Seriously, an addiction people, I have considered an intervention...ok, well, maybe not that seriously...
6-She is looking for a young good looking vampire to marry thanks to the Twilight series, but will I am sure settle for a nice Mormon boy eventually!

About Spencer:
1-Currently this busy guy is playing both Soccer & Football.
2-He looks just like me but male-seriously. I will find some pics to put up to prove this point.
3-He goes by a name that is actually not his name at all and was inspired by the late princess Diana.
4-He will be 11 in a few days, and his nearest sibling in age is almost 20. He has like 5 or 6 nieces and nephews closer in age to him than any of his siblings are.
5-At 10-year-old, his very best friend was his Aunt Cathy who recently passed away-this is significant to note, not for the tragic loss, but for the fact that he adores his family so much and that he absolutely loved his aunt more than anyone though most boys his age would have thought they needed to act too cool for that.
6-As a small child, he told my first date that I was his mother because my dad gave him 5 bucks to do so!

Sisters

My sister just posted this on her blog, which is private, but I wanted you all to see this. Here is what she wrote:

I just had to post these pictures. . . I think Kindle (Beckee's baby) looks just like her big sister, Solace! Here is a picture of Kindle that Beckee posted to her blog recently:

And this is a picture of Solace taken at about the same age (I took this picture):

Don't you think they look alike!? I do!

So, seriously, aren't my girls adorable? And they do look alike, it's true...

As an important side note, I think you should all know that Solace just saw this and said, "Oh-look how cute she is, did you take that (the second picture) today while I was at school? It is SOOOO cute!" When I told her it was actually her she was beyond shocked and she looked at her sister and said "Kindle, we are twins, very, very cute twins!"

Yeah for another nephew!

Congrats to Andrea, Jeremy, Jaxon, Kyara, & Ender who just found out today that they will be welcoming a baby BOY in December!!! We are so excited for you all!! Congrats! We know Jeremy is already excited about his own personal golf foursome, and that Jaxon and Ender are totally stoked to have another wrestling partner. I just want to say to Kyara and Andrea that although I am sure you were secretly hoping for a girl to even the odds at your house, just think about all the great girly time you 2 will get to spend together! How special for you to just get to have one on one girl time! And how great to have a cute baby boy!! We are excited for you all!!

(Doesn't he make it so the boys outnumber the girls again on our side Andrea? Wow-Dad is finally getting the boys he never had when we were in the house, huh?! Do we have a basketball team yet?)

Happy January Birthdays!! (and a few December)

Today, on my little sister's 27th birthday (man is she old-and boring, just ask her son!!) I thought I would send out a shout out to all the many many January birthday's in my family. I hope I haven't missed any, but very well could have. Sorry! But Happy Birthday to all of you January babies!

Brooke, my cousin. 19 on Jan 1st (Yes, a New Years baby)Andrea, my sister, the BORING 27 year old today (Jan 8).
Papou (That's grandpa in Greek) in turning 86 tomorrow, Jan 9th.
My mom will be 51 on the 10th (will she hate that I put her age? Maybe...)
My Grandma Shirley's birthday is on Jan 13th. I have no clue how old she is...

Coach Jeremy,my brother-in-law (Andrea's husband) will be thirtysomething (32?) on Jan 16th. I should also note that my cousin JoJo's birthday is this same day and he is Andrea's boring old age of 27.
Action Jaxon, my nephew will be 6 on Jan 20th. Holy crap he is old! Happy birthday Jaxon!
I just thought I should note that my aunt Cathy was diagnosed with brain cancer about 9 months or so ago, and told she would live about 3 months. However, On Christmas Eve, 2007 we were blessed to be able to celebrate her 50th birthday with her!! I though that was worth a mention especially since I missed the birthdays while I was in Utah...
Ashley, Wes's sister had a birthday December 19th and I'm thinking she turned 23?

One other birthday I missed in December was Grandma Nelson who turned even younger on December 29th. We were lucky enough to spend that evening visiting with her before we had to return to Spokane.
