Map below

You should check out the map at the bottom of the blog and add yourself and your location to it. That would be awesome!

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Today my brother-in-law is having a birthday and...well...let's just say he is older than me! Happy Birthday Jeremy! You can just consider the fact that I left your age off of here as your birthday present! :) Seriously though, I know your house has been filled with hospital visits and tough times lately, but I hope you can enjoy the day and that your wife will feel well enough to at least hang out with you! Happy Birthday from all of us!

Andrea-I hope you don't mind that I stole this picture from your blog...

Crazy Hair Day

A week or so ago, Solace's school had a crazy hair day and here is her hair. (A few things to notice: the top of her hair is ratted 80's style, then the next layer has a curler in it and 2 small braids...it was crazy!)

Solace's Holiday program

Because if the snow day the last day of school before break, the Kindergarten program was rescheduled for the first week back in January. So, I recorded all the songs. Solace is tall so she is in the back. There are 3 songs and 4 videos-(I had to break up Feliz Navidad-I lost patience during the dance break.) Here is Solace's program:

Feliz Navidad part 1

And because that is really enough Feliz Navidad, I am not going to post the last part of that song! Hope you enjoyed this anyway! Solace was awesome and we loved going to hear her program!

Grandma was here to ring in the New Year!

Look-Grandma came to see us (with Tom-refer to the frozen lake post for Tom pics)!!! We had so much fun all hanging out and just visiting and playing together. And grandma still likes us even after mom (me) backed into grandma's new car...oh yeah I did that...dang! (It was just the right side mirror, but still! It is getting fixed now) So, back to our fun parts of the visit. Tom and grandma brought Mario Cart and extra controllers-we loved that!! And we played Killer Bunnies, visited, cooked, and ate-way too much, but we liked it!! Here are some great pics of Grandma and the kids...

Kindle, Armour and Anne Background for this: every year it is a Greek family tradition to bake New Years bread. You bake a coin into a loaf of bread. On top of the bread you put the year. It should be covered in sesame seeds, but I was out this year. So, here is the deal with the coin thing. When you cut the bread on New Years Day, each slice represents something or someone in the household. The first slice is church, second job and third home. Then the next piece is the head of the household, then the rest of the household in order of age. Who or what ever gets the coin is supposed to have luck through the coming year. Ender has always gotten ours since he was born. This year his baby sister got it-he was ticked! Now, all that background was to set up this next picture of Solace-she made her first loaf of New Years bread this year! She gave it to Grandma to bring home and cut with Grandpa and Tom when she got home. Tom got their lucky coin. Here is Solace holding her very first New Years bread!

Frozen Lake

Anne and Tom came and visited us to ring in the New Year. One day while Kindle had quality Grandma time, the rest of us went over to see the frozen lake. Here are way too many pictures of that-enjoy!
