Look-Grandma came to see us (with Tom-refer to the frozen lake post for Tom pics)!!! We had so much fun all hanging out and just visiting and playing together. And grandma still likes us even after mom (me) backed into grandma's new car...oh yeah I did that...dang! (It was just the right side mirror, but still! It is getting fixed now) So, back to our fun parts of the visit. Tom and grandma brought Mario Cart and extra controllers-we loved that!! And we played Killer Bunnies, visited, cooked, and ate-way too much, but we liked it!! Here are some great pics of Grandma and the kids...

Background for this: every year it is a Greek family tradition to bake New Years bread. You bake a coin into a loaf of bread. On top of the bread you put the year. It
should be covered in sesame seeds, but I was out this year. So, here is the deal with the coin thing.
When you cut the bread on New Years Day, each slice represents something or someone in the household. The first slice is church, second job and third home. Then the next piece is the head of the household, then the rest of the household in order of age. Who or what ever gets the coin is supposed to have luck through the coming year.
Ender has always gotten ours since he was born. This year his baby sister got it-he was ticked! Now, all that background was to set up this next picture of Solace-she made her first loaf of New Years bread this year! She gave it to Grandma to bring home and cut with Grandpa and Tom when she got home. Tom got their lucky coin. Here is Solace holding her very first New Years bread!
