Catchin up on a big ol busy week...

Prepare yourselves! I went hog-wild on this blogging thing to catch up on the past week...Enjoy the pics and stories of this past few days. I think there is like 15 posts in the past day or two... :)

2 Weeks Old and counting...

Kindle had her 2 week appointment yesterday and she is doing well. She is now 10 lbs and 3 oz, and they think that her original length was measured wrong (which we thought anyway), because she now measures just over 21 inches!! She is darn cute and getting cuter every day!! We love her and want to share some pics of her at 2 weeks...
Check out that hair!

A funny thing happened on the way home from the BBQ...

We stopped at Red Box (my new favorite thing) and I had Wes get out and pick the movies. Check out him standing next to the kid wearing the same outfit...I laughed and laughed about that too!!!

Memorial Day BBQ with friends

On Memorial Day we went to a BBQ at a friends house with a few other families in our ward. It was a blast! And it gave the kids a chance to play with and say goodbye to some of their good friends!

Friends!

E & his friend that has the same birthday as him.

Crazy Car/Funny to me...

Not the greatest pics, but on our way to a BBQ with some friends from the ward, this really old car drove up next to us, with a very old man driving it. I thought "wow-that is old school and awesome!" Then he turned and looked at us and I noticed he was talking on a cell phone. For some reason it struck me a HILARIOUS!!!! I laughed and laughed...so I thought I'd share...

Memorial Day Church activity

For Memorial Day the ward had a little breakfast, program and bike parade (after a bike decorating period). Here are some pics...

Solace singing Ender singing/ sword fighting with his flag...
Armour on his tricycle (for the first time ever I might add)
Ender on his bike.
E & his primary teacher decorating his bike.
Dad helps Solace decorate her bike.
All decorated & riding over to line up (before we grabbed the helmet)

A LOVES the trike.
K in her wheels...
S in the parade
E grumpily leaving the parade.

Sandpoint

Up until now, we have not actually been able to go see the "beach" at Sandpoint, Idaho, so last Sat, May 24th, we decided to make the drive out there to see it. It was a bit rainy and cold, but it was fun nonetheless. Here's some pics...

There is this little Statue of Liberty. Here's S by it.

Still shots of the falls

Everyone at the falls-see them running like crazy behind them?! To quote Wes, "it was like Niagara Falls there that day!!"S & E
Wild...
Wild falls...
Right behind them again.
Playing in the spray...yes, that log did come over the edge, but it came over slowly, and before we got there. We played in the spray for about 2 minutes and Wes was RIGHT there the whole time! It was pretty crazy how much it was splashing though-it reminded me of the ocean in Waikiki when we were there last winter-but not as tropical and warm and awesome...

WET

River (even more) wild!!!

Well, I know I posted a video of the river running wild at bowl and pitcher, but it was even crazier on Friday when we went to the falls. The 2 videos are loud, and I sound very screamy, but they are worth a look see...Check it out!

Armour's last Playgroup & Ender's play

Last Friday was not only Ender's play, it was Armour's last playgroup. He would not pose for pics with his friends, so the only reasonable fair pic I got is this:
And now a couple still shots of Ender's play:
Awaiting his turn to speak...yeah for the sparrows...
Bows...

Ender's play

Ender's class did a play of Peter Rabbit at school. He played one of 3 sparrows. He was AWESOME!!! Below is a video of him rehearsing at home, and a video of the actual play. In the play, he uses his "beak" to help pick up the net off of Peter Rabbit. It was hilarious and by far Wes's favorite part of the whole play! I have to agree that it was the most creative, and best part of the play! Leave it to my kid to find a way to steal the show with a minor role!

Yeah for Ender!!!!

Portfolio Day for Solace...

Last Thursday Solace and her teacher invited me to a portfolio day at her school. The rest of the class will be doing this next week after we move, but since Solace and Michael were moving early, Annie (Michael's mom) and I got to do our own portfolio day early. For the day, the kids walked us through stations they have been doing this year and they showed off their work and had us try doing some of the things they had done this year. Here are some pictures of some of the things...

Solace showing me her invention. It is a do it all movable house...
This is me doing a quad hunt. They would hunt for words int he quad in class all year. I got to hunt for the pictures of the classmates.

Solace showing me the ABC board. She was funny!
The next 2 pics are from her memory game-we had to write what she remembered about the things in the pictures. It was great fun!!
