WHen will Baby J #5 come...your guess is as good as mine...so GUESS already!!

Well, as we are getting closer to the due date of Mr Johnson (baby #5), I thought we could have a little fun and have some guesses as to when he will come and how big he will be. I will add a running list of guesses on the side of the blog. To make your guess, you will need to comment on this post or email me at beckee13@gmail.com. We will take guesses for the following: Date and time of birth, weight, and length. I will also accept unique boy name ideas as he is still nameless...

Here is the pertinent info you might want to be able to make an informed guess.

About this guy: I found out I was pregnant on July 26, 2010 (Armour's b-day). According to my last period date, I would have been due sometime mid March. However, we had a very early ultrasound (5 weeks as it turned out) that put the due date on April 5, 2011 (Ender's 7th birthday). These early ultrasounds are supposed to be the most accurate identifier of due date. So, officially my due date is set at April 5, 2011 (4 weeks and 2 days away).

As far as his size, at my 20 week ultrasound, he measured a bit big and a bit further along that 20 weeks (again-the early ultrasounds are most accurate). And we did another Ultrasound at 30 weeks where he measured more like 32-33 weeks and was already 4 lb 3 oz (according to the measurements-which are fairly accurate, but could be way off as well).

About the other kids/previous pregnancies:

My older 4 kids were all early and have been progressively bigger:

Solace was due Dec 11 and born Dec 8. She was 7 lb 14.6 oz and 20.5 inches long.

Ender was due April 14 and born April 5. He was 7 lb 14.6 oz and 20.5 inches long (yes-he and Solace were identical in size at birth).

Armour was due August 10 and born July 26. He was 8 lb 15.2 oz and 21.75 inches long.

Kindle was due on May 26 and born on May 13. She was 9 lb 4 oz and 19.5 inches (that is what it officially says, but it was determined that was inaccurate as she was 22 inches at 3 days old).

How do I feel?

Well, I am miserable and feel that baby should come anytime now. I have occasional contractions, but nothing of real consequence. At my appointment last Tuesday, I was dilated to a 3+ and 50% effaced. BUT that means nothing as a 5th time mom I could go around forever like that. I hope this baby comes early, but I can see this being the one late child...

Lets start with a baby update...aka, but what will we name this cutie?

Here is a post from my deals blog that I put up 1/26. I am also going to add a cutie video on the bottom and a couple more pics:
I just wanted to take a deals break and tell you about my baby/pregnancy. I am 30 weeks pregnant as of yesterday (YEAH) so I have about 10 weeks left. As many of you know, my husband is a doctor and in fact a radiologist so occasionally if they are not super busy we can sneak a peek at our baby through ultrasound. It is about the only perk to residency! :)

Anyway-yesterday they had some time to scan my tummy (and they wanted to show a student how to do 3D & 4D Ultrasounds) so went and got some pics of baby boy J. So far his face has been covered in ALL the ultrasounds and so we have not seen it before, but I will tell you, he is a cutie! And boy-he really looks like his siblings!!

The other fun thing is that baby is actually measuring at 32 1/2 weeks instead of 30 weeks and he is already over 4 pounds, so maybe he will come early! :) Fingers crossed! (He is due on his brother, E Dawg's 7th birthday, so It would be nice if he was born early and they did not share a birthday...)

I think he is a cutie! Yes I know I am biased, but oh well...if anyone has unique but not too weird boy names to suggest, I am all ears!!

And now I am 32.5 weeks along and I am really hoping this little man will come in about 6 weeks...especially with how big he is already and how uncomfortable I am already...So...names that will go well with Solace, Ender, Armour, and Kindle?! Suggest away. Ready....GO...

A peek at Baby J #5

Well, there is really a baby in there, and we thought you might want to see him or her...

Now, it is a bit early on to tell the sex just yet, but I think I may actually have guessed this one correctly...

As a side note, the first ultrasound I got was at 5 weeks and was just the sac you could see. At that ultrasound, Armour was CONVINCED it was a boy. He proudly told any and everyone we met for weeks that we had a baby boy coming and he knew because in the belly pictures it has a "head with a penis sticking out". HAHA...That is my kid for you.

And lastly, as to due dates, according to my last period date, the child's due date would be March 24, 2011. But at that first Ultrasound (which was the earliest and thus supposed to be the most accurate), my due date was put on Ender's birthday, April 5, 2011. So that is the date we are going with. But just as an FYI, I was very glad to hear that this ultrasound places due date at March 29 (which splits the difference pretty well). So, looks like maybe Ender won't have to share a birthday after all...

As always, bring on the name recommendations...my favorite, perfect boy name is not an option due to it's hugely massive gain in popularity, and my girl names are pretty good, but I have not really felt we found that perfect one yet......dang...
