Armour and Wes the models!!

Yesterday was a big day for Armour!! Not only did he get a baby brother, but his (and dad's) "modeling shoot" magazine came out. Could not let the day pass without including that as well! Here's a pic of the cover and the inside pics:

During Labor and right after birth!

Labor went really well-very smooth!! Here are some pictures of me while we waited for him to drop down...

Once he dropped, he was born pretty quick and easy. So, on March 29, 2011 at 1:34PM we welcomed our newest Johnson: Everest Spencer Johnson! He was 8 lb 12.1 oz and 22 inches long! And boy is he a cutie!! Here are some pictures of him from the first hour of life:

As you can see-his daddy was quite excited to meet him and they had some good bonding time! :) Could they be any cuter?!

Today is the big Day...

This morning, March 29, 2011, I was scheduled to be induced. So, we were supposed to check in at the hospital at 7:15 am. We had to take the 4 kids to 3 different friends houses, so we were up and ready early. BUT we made time to take some pics of us all ready for the big day...here we all are before we left the house, all spruced up to meet our new guy! :)

Boy we were excited to meet him...at this point in the morning, he was still unnamed...

Well, as we are getting closer to the due date of Mr Johnson (baby #5), I thought we could have a little fun and have some guesses as to when he will come and how big he will be. I will add a running list of guesses on the side of the blog. To make your guess, you will need to comment on this post or email me at beckee13@gmail.com. We will take guesses for the following: Date and time of birth, weight, and length. I will also accept unique boy name ideas as he is still nameless...

Here is the pertinent info you might want to be able to make an informed guess.

About this guy: I found out I was pregnant on July 26, 2010 (Armour's b-day). According to my last period date, I would have been due sometime mid March. However, we had a very early ultrasound (5 weeks as it turned out) that put the due date on April 5, 2011 (Ender's 7th birthday). These early ultrasounds are supposed to be the most accurate identifier of due date. So, officially my due date is set at April 5, 2011 (4 weeks and 2 days away).

As far as his size, at my 20 week ultrasound, he measured a bit big and a bit further along that 20 weeks (again-the early ultrasounds are most accurate). And we did another Ultrasound at 30 weeks where he measured more like 32-33 weeks and was already 4 lb 3 oz (according to the measurements-which are fairly accurate, but could be way off as well).

About the other kids/previous pregnancies:

My older 4 kids were all early and have been progressively bigger:

Solace was due Dec 11 and born Dec 8. She was 7 lb 14.6 oz and 20.5 inches long.

Ender was due April 14 and born April 5. He was 7 lb 14.6 oz and 20.5 inches long (yes-he and Solace were identical in size at birth).

Armour was due August 10 and born July 26. He was 8 lb 15.2 oz and 21.75 inches long.

Kindle was due on May 26 and born on May 13. She was 9 lb 4 oz and 19.5 inches (that is what it officially says, but it was determined that was inaccurate as she was 22 inches at 3 days old).

How do I feel?

Well, I am miserable and feel that baby should come anytime now. I have occasional contractions, but nothing of real consequence. At my appointment last Tuesday, I was dilated to a 3+ and 50% effaced. BUT that means nothing as a 5th time mom I could go around forever like that. I hope this baby comes early, but I can see this being the one late child...

First Day of School 2010-2011 year

First Day of School 2010. Solace began 2nd Grade in Mr Ruth's class, Ender began 1st Grade in Miss Jenkins class and both attend Cather Elementary. Mom is PTO President there.
