Utah in July: Tree full of boys

One day while in Utah, I walked out to my parents backyard to find Spence (my brother), Jaxon (my nephew), and Ender (my son). After looking around and calling their names for a while, my niece Kyara said to look in the tree. So, I did and saw Spence at the very top, Jaxon just below him and Ender just below Jaxon. Here are the pics (couldn't get a great one of Ender though because he was the most camouflaged (is that really how you spell that?)...

Utah in July: Army's present

We left Utah right before Army's 3rd birthday. Anne and Steve wanted to give him his present before we left Utah. It was very cute-camo backpack full of "fishing supplies" (all treats with a fishing theme like Swedish fish and pretzel rods), A Camo hat and camo "fish flops" (they are the cutest flip-flops shaped like fish.) Here he is opening the present.

July in Utah: Anne's surprise

As I mentioned we went to Utah in July for a few days for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday surprise. She had no clue we were there and had no clue about the party. It all turned out perfectly. Well, all but my camera-that took mostly blurry, useless pictures. But here are a few of the better pictures.

July in Utah: Jogging Buddies

We went to Utah for a few days in July to surprise Wes's mom for her 50th birthday. On the first day, as Wes got ready for his daily jog, Army got himself all ready and matching his dad. He wanted to jog too! Here they are.

In June...

Wes turned 30. I always overdo it, and he would prefer a quiet little family thing. So this year I did just that-a little family party and dinner. I did do one "big" thing. I asked his family and friends to send me stories and pictures and I am making them into a book which I will be publishing for him ASAP. Here are a few pics from his "party".

Also in Utah in May..

We got to go see Tom (Wes's baby brother) get ordained as an Elder. He is now in the MTC (Missionary Training Center). His farewell was on September 13 (my birthday) and he entered the MTC on September 23 (my brother's birthday). He will be serving his mission in the Philippines (Tacloban) and he is learning to speak Cebuano. Wes also went to the Philippines, but he was in Quezon City (near Manila) and he spoke Tagalog.

Ender: I cannot believe I have a rich uncle I never met.
Solace: Yeah I know, but he's not our rich uncle yet. We have to wait until aunt Angela gets married, THEN we have a rich uncle.
