I feel sheepish blogging about this so late, but here it is. Also you will note that I am using a very high quality shot of Cody here, but Brenden took it, and it shows Cody doing one of the things he is best at-playing with the kids (and his mother-in-law I guess). ALL the nieces and nephews love, love, LOVE their uncle Cody even though they don't get to see him that much (as we all live out of state usually).
So, all that aside, I have to say that I think I have been hesitant to blog about this particular birthday because I know that any harassment I dish out, I better be able to take when I have this very same birthday in a month. Yes, that is right folks, Cody is officially out of his 20s...ouch! I remember the day my brother-in-law Jeremy turned 30 (though it was SOO long ago that admittedly it is hard to think back that far), and I remember a lot of great harassment I thought of. Most of it stayed in my head as I didn't see Jeremy that day, but this whole new world of blogging opens up a forum to let the harassment flow...
Luckily for Cody, as my own 30th birthday looms just around the corner, I do not feel much like harassing anyone for turning 30-frankly I am not sure I am going to celebrate that birthday anyway-I am thinking I will skip it and just stay 29. I even arranged to work that night just to stop any possibility of festivities. SO, to Cody I will just say, Happy Birthday!!
Happy Belated Birthday Cody!!!

You're not going to get away with not celebrating your 30th birthday . . . or without hearing a few old comments just because you were "nice" to Cody! :) 30 isn't that old-30 is the new 20, ya know!
